Properties in a Purbeck village have been left without power after a power cable fell.
The incident happened at Eddy Green Road in Lytchett Matravers this morning. Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service and the electricity board attended the incident.
A spokesman for the fire service said: "The Electricity Board have confirmed that a number of local properties will be without power.
"We have now left the scene and left the incident with the Electricity Board. They expect power to be restored by midday."
