The road has been cleared after a two-vehicle crash on the A31.
The incident happened between the A31 (Lake Gates Roundabout, East End) and the B3073 King Street (Wimborne Minster).
The vehicles involved were a blue Mazda and a grey Vauxhall Astra.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said they were called to reports of a two-vehicle crash at 1.26pm. They added that no one was injurued..
Julian's Road was partially blocked following the crash, and traffic slowed.
The road has now been cleared and traffic is easing.
The local authority has been made aware of fuel left on the road.
