Police launched a search after a concerns grew for a vulnerable teenager last seen on the coastline.
Dorset Police were called just after 4pm yesterday to a concern for welfare report for a 13-year-old boy.
The teenager had been last seen on the beach near to the Castle Cove Sailing Club in Weymouth.
Officers carried out a search of the area and the boy was found on the beach adjacent to Dover Road near to the Rodwell trail.
Coastguard teams from Portland and Wyke were called to assist police in recovering the 13-year-old.
The casualty was placed in a stretcher and taken to a place of safety and given appropriate care.
