Mr Gunn is known for raving around the world, and recently appeared in BBC Three’s Amazing Humans. He has since become a star of social media.

He said he managed to make a few visitors smile who watched as he busted his moves next to the Olympic Rings.

He added: “It was about 10am on a Saturday when we made the video, so there wasn’t too many people around to see it. However, there were a group of people to the side of us who had smiles on their faces whilst I was dancing around.

“I think it’s a great area, the views are incredible and being able to dance up there is a great feeling.

“It was definitely a great place to dance, I think there should be more dance-music events on Portland that takes advantage of it’s beautiful scenery.”

Mr Gunn filmed the video on Saturday, September 15 and said he has been coming to the area for years.

He explained: “I’ve been coming to the area since I was a child, I used to go sailing every Saturday morning in Portland Harbour. Whilst I don’t live on Portland, I have family there.

“I had a free weekend, so the first thing that came to my head when finding something to do was visiting Portland to see my family and to go out and have some fun dancing around the island whilst recording it.”

Although there is fencing around the rings, Mr Gunn says he ‘obeyed the rules.’

He explained: “I would say the overall reaction has been positive, with many comments saying how it put smiles on their faces and how they should go and do the same. I thought it would be funny to suggest that one day “raving should be part of the Olympics” as the caption of the video.

“There were a few comments because there was a fence surrounding the rings however we obeyed the sign rules “keep off” and we didn’t actually touch the rings.”

He says his motto is “Love life and rave” and added: “I just love dancing around to dance music. My motto is “Love Life and Rave”, it means what it says to love your life and go raving.

“Love Life and Rave is not only meant to be a saying or a motto, it is a way of life, a way for thinking and a way of behaving that can be translated by anyone in their own way. It is important that you don’t just live up to it, you think it, you breathe it, you feel it.”
