Nearly a thousand visitors arrived on Dorset's shores after the latest cruise ship sailed into Portland Port this morning.

Ken Deadman captured this picture of cruise ship Nautica arriving into the port with 702 passengers on board.

The ship is owned and operated by Oceania Cruises, where she is part of their Regatta Class fleet and is 594 ft long with space for 803 people.

On board the ship are restaurants, a theatre, swimming pool, spa, nightclub and even a 9-hole putting green.

The ship has its own orchestra to welcome guests as they board via a red carpet.

The Nautica is only making a short stop off before leaving the port at 9pm to head to her next destination.

She is the penultimate cruise ship to dock at Portland Port, as the season draws to an end after another successful year.

The Seabourn Ovation will close the season when she docks on October 8.
