MORE TV shows filmed in this part of Dorset fill our Remember When pages this week.

First up is the charming Channel 4 programme Watercolour Challenge, which was once filmed at the Fleet at Abbotsbury Swannery in May 1999.

It was presented by actress Hannah Gordon, known as the star of My Wife Next Door. Other episodes were filmed in Dorset locations in the same week and the regional final was filmed at Corfe Castle.

Another popular Channel 4 show, Time Team, also came to Dorset to film a programme.

The show, which was presented by Blackadder actor Tony Robinson, was ed at West Waddon, near Portesham in April 1999.

The team excavated a building during their dig.

Another face from TV, Sally Taylor, was photographed in 1997.

The BBC South Today anchorwoman was pictured at Portland Heights with Bertie the dog filming a section of BBC2's Out and About programme.

There are also some photographs in our archives of Sky TV filming at inside the offices of the Dorset Echo.

Dance group Impulse was filmed showing off their moves by Thames TV at the Boys Club in Weymouth in October 1982.

And finally, Weymouth Summer Show star Bobby Davro was pictured at rehearsals for popular BBC1 children's gameshow Run the Risk in August 1995.

Bobby joined forces with the 'King of Gunge' Peter Simon to rehearse prior to transmission on the Saturday morning programme. Bobby was host and question master for 21 shows as three teams of two youngsters competed through physical games and topical questions before a final which involved giant creatures reminiscent of It's A Knockout.
