Dozens of jobs have been created with the arrival of a new superstore in Weymouth.
Home Bargains will open its new store in Littlemoor Shopping Centre on Saturday, and it is thought that up to 40 new jobs will be generated as a result of the opening.
The former Co-op store, which will be the first Home Bargains to open in western Dorset, will offer shoppers an array of products including homewares, snacks and drinks, as well as fresh and frozen food.
Joe Morris, operations director at Home Bargains, said: "We’re thrilled to be launching our first store in Weymouth and look forward to welcoming customers through the doors.
"Littlemoor Shopping Centre will be a great location for us."
The family-run retailer invested around £800,000 into the new site which will also have around 200 free car parking spaces.
Home Bargains will open at 8am on Saturday, September 29.
