A Poundbury bike shop has been targeted in an overnight burglary.
Electric bikes were stolen in the early hours of this morning after thieves broke into Dorset CycleLife on Bridport Road.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said: "We were called at 2.55am on Friday 28 September 2018 to reports of a break to Dorset CycleLife on Bridport Road, Poundbury. A quantity of electric bikes were stolen. All but one has since been recovered."
A 47-year-old man from Liverpool has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary and is assisting officers with their enquiries.
Dorset Police said a full investigation is underway and are now appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
"Officers are keen to hear from any members of the public who discover a discarded electric bike in the area," the spokesman said.
