Do you buy free-range eggs? Or do you buy eggs from caged hens? Have you even thought about the eggs you buy?

We believe you should only eat free-range eggs because they are healthier, and the hens are more relaxed.

We believe this is true because the hens can exercise and have more room to roam free like in their natural habitat.

We think the egg industry is cruel because male chicks are slaughtered at only a few days old because they do not lay eggs.

And did you know hens are often killed after their egg production goes down?

We also think the egg industry is deceptive because caged eggs are not as healthy as free-range eggs, but this is not clearly labelled.

However, there is a price difference in the eggs. Free-range eggs are more expensive than caged eggs.

Although we would like to see the end of caged hens, we are not sure if it is a good idea because some people may not be able to afford them.

Maybe free-range egg producers can lower prices making it more affordable. We are not sure if this is possible, but we think it would be a good idea, do you agree?

We all need to remember where our food comes from, and how it is made.

Is it time for you to change the way you shop for your eggs?
