Letter: Having a pet is not a decision that should be taken lightly
As an animal lover, especially cats, I was appalled at the heartless person who left Charlie in a secluded area.
That poor cat, if unwanted, for any reason should have been taken to an animal rescue centre.
This applies to any pet that is unwanted.
People need to appreciate that an animal taken into their home is a responsibility not to be taken lightly.
Thank goodness the dog walker found Charlie and did the descent humane action of taking him to Dave Cumber Vets.
