It is simply not true that Dorchester Town Council is backing proposals to build thousands of new houses at Crossways.
You can read our actual submission on the Local Plan Review on the home page of the Town Council or by clicking here dorchester-tc.gov.uk/docs/council/agenda/180925-DOR15-Draft.pdf
We have 12 substantive objections to the plans to build north of Dorchester and not one of them is saying switch them to Crossways instead.
We recognise that this plan is fundamentally the fault of the Conservative Government setting our area a target of building 794 houses a year.
It is also the fault of West Dorset Conservatives that of the houses being forced upon us they have chosen to locate most of them either by Dorchester or Crossways.
