ONE of the United States' largest supply vessels has been docked in Portland Port.
The Robert E Peary, which has appeared on the Discovery Channel’s series Mighty Ships, was docked in Portland Port this weekend.
The vessel was used as a trial vessel to test the new Queen Elizabeth Aircraft Carries berth in Portsmouth.
It has a gross tonnage of 43,758.
