They made me think and write in to suggest the photographers may like to consider the gas holder as an interesting and changing subject now that the process of demolition is starting.
It is not beautiful and will not be mourned but it has been a significant part of our townscape for a long time and I for one will be interested in how it will be dismantled and the changing shapes involved, especially with a winter sunset behind it.
