A Weymouth mum has scooped £1,000 after sharing a special moment.
Claire Nutman, 50, entered Claims.co.uk’s Peaceful Moments competition with a photo of herself and her son at Durdle Door in Dorset’s Jurassic Coast - the photo captures a moment that she cherishes as she suffered a serious blood clot on the evening the the photograph was taken.
Despite suffering the life changing incident on the day that her entry photograph was taken, Claire regards the moment she shared with her son as a symbol of the fact that she survived the ordeal. Now, Claire uses this as a reminder to herself of all that she has overcome.
She said: “I feel very blessed to be here and able to tell the story, I feel excited and appreciative to have won at such a challenging time in our lives.
"I would like to send a huge thank you to the judges.”
