A man has been arrested after laptops, a purse and jewellery were stolen in a break-in to a Weymouth home.
Police said the home in Alexandra Road was raided after access was gained through the ground floor window. An untidy search was carried out and two Asus laptops, a purse containing cash and cards and various items of jewellery were taken from the property.
The break-in is reported to have happened between 7pm on Thursday, August 9 2018 and 12.45am on Friday, August 10 2018.
A 39-year-old man from Weymouth has now been arrested on suspicion of burglary and has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
