A man was taken to hospital after a crash involving a motorbike and a military tank.
Police and ambulance services were called to the crash on the A352 at Holmebridge, near Wareham, on Monday.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said they were called to reports of a two-vehicle collision at 11.29am.
The motorcyclist sustained a suspected fracture to his arm and leg and was taken to Poole Hospital. His injuries are not thought to be life-changing or life-threatening.
The driver of the Warrior tank was uninjured.
Officers are now appealing for witnesses following the collision.
Police Sergeant Mark Scammell, of the traffic unit, said: "I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the manner of driving or riding of either vehicle prior to the collision, or anyone who saw the collision and has not yet spoken with officers, to please contact Dorset Police.
"I would also ask anyone with any relevant dashcam footage to come forward."
The A352 was closed both ways between Puddletown Road and Tout Hill. Motorists were being urged to find alternative routes.
The road reopened at around 1pm.
