A neighbourhood policing team has announced its community events for the next month.

Bridport Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT), which covers Bridport, Beaminster and Lyme Regis, is based in Bridport.

The Lyme Regis section is hosting a surgery at Thorncombe Village Shop on Friday, October 26.

The team will be handling any questions or queries from the general public at the shop from 3pm until 4pm.

Officers are also hosting a coffee morning at Hallett Court, Queens Walk on Wednesday, October 31.

Tea and coffee will be served from 10am until 11am.

The Beaminster section is hosting three events in November.

The first is a coffee morning, which will take place at Melbury Osmond Village Hall on Thursday, November 1.

Officers will be at the hall from 10.30am until midday, with the public invited to raise any questions they may have.

On the same day from 10.30am until 11am, the team is also hosting a surgery at Askerswell Village Hall.

Then on Tuesday, November 6, the team will be hosting a meet the team/surgery at Burton Bradstock Library.

This will take place from 10.30am until 11am.

The front counter at Bridport Police Station is also open on select days should you wish to raise a query.

The counter will be open on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 9am until 3.30pm.
