AN investigation is under way after a man suffered stab wounds in an incident in Boscombe.

Police said they were called by Royal Bournemouth Hospital around 11am on Sunday after a man presented himself in A&E with stab wounds.

Officers proceeded to cordon off part of Woodland Walk in Boscombe.

The man's injuries are not life-threatening, a spokesperson for Dorset Police said.

"We have persons helping us with our enquiries", they added.
