Coastguards and paramedics were called to the aid of a woman who injured her leg after falling at Bowers Quarry.
Portland Bill Coastguard Rescue was called to assist the ambulance service at 5.36pm yesterday (5) with the woman who had fallen while out walking in the area.
On arrival, she was being assessed and cared for by paramedics.
The coastguard team placed the woman into a stretcher and carried her to an ambulance at Blacknor Fort.
She was taken to Dorset County Hospital for further checks.
