Young people in Weymouth have been busy making their own tribute to the fallen.
Members of Weymouth Sea Cadets have been busy cutting, painting and assembling their impressive poppy tribute which can be seen outside the unit's headquarters in Barrack Road.
Corp Phil Dennis, Weymouth Sea Cadet’s Commanding Officer, said: "The Weymouth Sea Cadets have had the honour of supporting the Royal British Legion for more than 50 years, therefore decided this display would be a fitting way to mark the centenary of the Armistice and doing so, remembering those who have fallen during the First World War and all wars since."
Members of the unit have been out in Weymouth town centre selling poppies and will be present at the Remembrance Sunday parade in Weymouth tomorrow.
