An imposing sculpture of a First World War soldier made in Dorset of scrap metal is now in his new home in Ireland.
Known as The Haunting, the ghostly figure stands at more than six metres and is made from items including spanners, car jacks, brake discs and horse shoes.
Martin Galbavy and Chris Hannam created the soldier at Dorset Forge and Fabrication based at North Wootton, near Sherborne and it was unveiled last year.
It helped to raise money for the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance while in the county. It also went on display at the Great Dorset Steam Fair, its first big outing.
The artwork was made for private clients as part of the First World War Centenary, and has now been transported to Dublin as part of the commemorations.
It will be on display in St Stephen's Green Park until the end of the month.
