Firefighters commemorated Remembrance Sunday by paying tribute to the fire crews who died in the Second World War.
Crew at Maiden Newton fire station used fire kits to create a giant poppy in memory of the 900 UK firefighters who died during the war.
The poppy was formed using hoses and bags, whilst the ‘900’ was created out of empty boots, to represent the firefighters who lost their lives.
Maiden Newton station posted a picture of the tribute to their Facebook page, with the message: “Our tribute to those lives lost during conflicts around the world.”
The post received around 3,000 views and was shared almost 70 times.
