POOLE’S Twin Sails Bridge has remained closed over the weekend due to a “technical issue.”
On Friday afternoon, Borough of Poole said there was a problem with the leaf on the Hamworthy side.
A spokesperson said on Twitter that the bridge would be kept in the raised position after the 5.30pm lift on Friday while engineers investigated.
The bridge remains closed.
It is not known when the bridge will reopen.
