Residents suggested ideas for new activities at a community centre's open day.
The Park Community Centre in Chelmsford Street invited people to see what goes on at the centre, and to put forward ideas for extra activities that are not currently supported.
Ideas included various dancing classes, ladies pamper evenings, book club and table top sales.
There was particular positive feedback for the 'Babies - new to you so an event has been organised on Saturday, November 24 from 10.30am-12.30pm – tables can still be booked for £5.
Family games evenings will start in the New Year for a trial period.
Centre volunteers would love to hear from anyone who would be interested in participating/running any of the above events - call 01305 839579 or drop round between 10am and 12noon weekdays.
