A VILLAGE hotel has been sold to new owners for more than £2m.

Savills, on behalf of a private vendor, has sold Mortons House Hotel in Corfe Castle to domestic owner operators. The hotel sold from a guide price of £2.45 million.

The 21 en-suite bedroom Grade II listed hotel is home to a two AA Rosette restaurant with 60 covers and additional bar and lounge areas. Located near the Corfe Castle train station and the A351 the property benefits from excellent road and rail links.
