I see with utter dismay the Peninsula plans have now been given the green light, and that our council have no respect at all for the people of Weymouth wishes.

Councillor Cant was jubilant saying: “It would be a legacy for the younger generation” yes if it is done the right way, but I do not agree this is the right way and I am not the only one that feels

this.

We believe in democracy so I feel the people of Weymouth should have a vote on this very important matter that has many flaws in it.

I wish Jason West of Weyforward every success for a judicial review and hope that the council will see sense, listen to the people of our town and go back to the drawing board before another one of their disasters occur.
