Residents of several Dorchester roads are being told that their requests for parking restrictions fail to meet the county council’s criteria.
Others are being told that their areas do – but will have to be considered in time along with many others across the county.
Double line requests have been rejected for the Weatherbury Way/Mellstock Avenue junction, Maen Gardens, Robins Garth and the Clarence Road /Garfield Avenue junction.
Other roads will be considered on the ranking list after meeting the criteria. These are Fordington Green, Rothesay Road/South Court Avenue, Monmouth Road/Ashley Road and Monmouth Road/Culliford Road.
