RE: a recent item regarding CCTV throughout Weymouth town centre.
I can assure W&PC that Mr Farne’s comment were completely correct and I have been told, officially, that some of the cameras are not manned at all and others not manned until the late afternoon which is when the trouble tends to start.
So if you want to commit a crime or affray please do so early in the day and you will not be seen to do so.
