A MAN walked into a school and stole a staff member's purse, which contained cash and bank cards.
Sometime between 3.30pm and 6.30pm on Wednesday November 28, a man entered The Blandford School in Milldown Road and stole a purse from a handbag belonging to a member of staff.
The purse contained a quantity of cash and bank cards.
One of the bank cards was later fraudulently used at a number of local stores that evening.
Police investigating the burglary have issued a CCTV image of the suspect and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
Police Constable Nick Hunter, of Blandford police, said: “As part of my investigation I am releasing a CCTV image of the suspect from the school and I would urge anyone who recognises him to please contact Dorset Police.”
