The company Tweeted this morning saying: "We are aware our customers are unable to use data this morning.
"Our technical teams are working on the issue with high priority.
"We are really sorry and working as hard and as fast as we can to fix this."
The company said it is "working closely" with one of its third party suppliers which has identified an issue in their system.
This issue has reportedly impacted mobile services globally.
⚠️The @O2 mobile network is currently experiencing technical problems with data. If you use this provider, then you may not be able to access Apps to pay for parking in our car parks or streets. You will need to pay by cash, connect to open wifi or use another method of payment.
