Dorset Police reponded to an incident today after a tree fell on a coach.

Police were called at 12.33pm with a report that a tree had fallen on a Barry's coach in a layby on the A3066 near Beaminster.

Barry's Coaches said the coach driver was in the vehicle at the time but there were no passengers onboard.

Police believe nobody was injured in the incident.

Dorset County Council Arboreal Team were sent to the scene to cut the tree off of the coach.

The A3066 is now reportedly blocked both ways because the coach has been freed and the tree has fallen into the road.

Police are currently at the scene.

The incident occurred between Furze Lane, Beaminster and Crock Hill, Netherbury.

Traffic is very slow because of this.
