Temperatures have plummeted and the wind is picking up as Dorset feels the chill of winter.

Big waves have been seen lashing the coast at Weymouth as the wind whips up a frenzy in the water.

There are no weather warnings in place for the county and no flood warnings.

Tomorrow is set to be colder still with temperatures struggling to get over 0 degrees C inland during the morning. With the wind factor it will feel a lot chillier although it will be dry and bright.

The area could see some rain on Saturday afternoon.
