Groups campaigning for a People’s Vote on the final Brexit deal will be out in force this Saturday as part of a national day of action.

Campaigners say the last action day was a success, with events across the UK and more than 1,800 volunteers distributing leaflets in their local communities.

This will be the final action day before Parliament votes on the government’s deal on January 15.

Groups will be out in Bridport on Saturday as part of the action.

Chairman of West Dorset for EU Kay Wilcox said: "We have been urging local MPs to get behind a People’s Vote, as where we are heading as a country is not what people voted for in 2016. We should have another say on whether we agree with the dismal deal that has been negotiated or our current membership of the EU."
