A man has been arrested after threatening people with a hockey stick in Bridport.
The incident is believed to have happened late last night.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said: “Officers have dealt with a male threatening people in the street with a hockey stick tonight in Bridport town centre. The male has been arrested and the weapon recovered. We are appealing for any witnesses to this event to come forward."
Police are keen to see any video or mobile phone footage people may have of the incident.
