Residents are being asked to support a children's charity ahead of World Cancer Day on February 4.
Weymouth CLIC Sargent Shop Manager Tracy Stagg said: "We want everyone in Weymouth to ‘band together’ behind families affected by cancer.
"You can make a difference by coming down to the shop in St Thomas Street, and donating just £2 to get your own special Band Against Cancer wristband.
"Making a small donation, wearing your wristband and telling others about it is such an easy way to make sure you can help other families going through a really tough time."
The wristbands are also available online at clicsargent.org.uk or in J D Wetherspoon pubs, Morrisons stores and select Ernest Jones and H Samuel jewellers stores.
