Finally, a statement I can agree with Mr Drax on (RE: Politicians to blame).
Our politicians of all persuasions have not exactly covered themselves in glory over the Brexit debacle.
I believe this is not about the EU at all but about certain members of our society being completely ignored for years by the political classes and subjected to cruel austerity by Mr Drax’s government.
Why on Earth would they have voted for the status quo?
They are cheered on their way by millionaire Brexiters such as Richard Drax, Jacob Rees-Mogg and Boris Johnson who have absolutely no idea how it is to live in the real world and want to turn the UK into a tax haven for their benefit.
As for the EU, well we want to leave them.
They are rules-based as you well know Mr Drax and their first priority is looking after their members.
That is why they do not want a return to the troubles in Ireland.
I certainly do not agree with all that the EU has done, but I do believe that we are better trying to reform this from within.
I am sure that other members would be open to this too.
Grow up all of you and stop pretending it'll all be okay.
A no-deal Brexit won’t affect you, will it?
