Hi readers, we hope 2019 is a good one so far for you.

We are thinking about our New Year Resolutions while sitting in busy Carluccios with the smell of tasty food around us.

With our tummies on our minds, it’s timely that our New Year Resolutions are like last year, to lose weight and get fitter.

Last year I, Emily, said I would eat less chocolate, crisps and cake. Well, it was a bit ‘yes and no’.

The problem comes when I am sitting watching tv and tempted to nibble, even though I don’t need it.

If I’m out or busy, like playing cards, I don’t snack as I’m preoccupied!

Two things I will do is walk our dogs more, and find healthier versions of my favourite meals online, which I can make with Mum.

We will both be eating healthier meals at Friendship Club as we are starting a healthy supper club this year.

I, William plan to do more exercise, just like our gentle stretch class last week at Friendship Club in Coffee#1.

I want to use the outdoor gym in the Borough Gardens when it’s warmer.

A proper gym is expensive and I don’t know what to do! I will also cook healthier meals at home, and eat more fruit instead of ice cream when out with friends.

My last New Year Resolution is to clean up after myself more. Sometimes my bedroom is untidy and Mum nags me to clean it up. I don’t enjoy it but will do it as think it will be nice to see it tidier.

We’d love to hear your resolutions, especially if you are doing something different or fun.
