An oprtation to free a woman from a car following a two-vehicle car crash near Blandford Forum has been successfully completed.
A spokesman for Dorset & Wiltshire Fire & rescue Service confirmed that the roof was removed just before 11 this morning.
"We were asked by paramedics to remove the roof", they added.
The incident happened outside Dunspit Lane towards Millers Lane at Farnham.
Dorset Police were called to the incident at 8.21am.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said: “We attended and road closures were put in place."
Both the ambulance service and the fire service are currently at the scene.
A spokesman for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Crews from Blandford and Shaftesbury are in attendance at a road traffic collision involving two vehicles, one female is medically trapped, and crews are preparing to remove the roof of the vehicle using hydraulic cutting equipment.”
