Staff and volunteers at Buxton House recently took part in the Dirty Devil Stampede fun run in Bovington.
‘Team Buxton House’ was made up of staff and family members who had all kindly volunteered to take part in the muddy 5k run. Despite the weather being cold and wet everyone couldn’t wait for the run to commence. The muddy course consisted of a mixture of trails, hills, going under nets and tackling the giant hill, ‘Knife Edge’ which everyone had to complete not just once, but three times!
All members of the team completed the run in a fantastic time and there was a real feeling of achievement after passing the finishing line.
Care South want to say a huge congratulations to ‘Team Buxton House’ who raised a brilliant £600 for the Residents’ Amenity Fund.
