Police have released a CCTV image of a man suspected of a theft at a store in Weymouth.

The officers investigating the theft of items from the store in the town have issued this image of the suspect and are asking the public to come forward with information.

At around 11.45am on Saturday, January 19 a man entered the shop at the BP petrol station on Dorchester Road and picked up a number of items including meat, alcohol and mobile phone accessories, before making off without paying.

Police Sergeant Carmel Ryan, of Dorset Police, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this offence and I am releasing a CCTV image of the suspect in the hope that someone may recognise him.”
