Police and coastguards searched for a vulnerable teenage boy who was reported missing last night.
Dorset Police, along with the Wyke and Portland Bill coastguard rescue teams, launched a search for the 16-year-old just after midnight today (5).
Weymouth RNLI also assisted with the search.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said they received the initial concern for welfare call at 11.30pm yesterday.
Two teams led by police searched a large coastal area between the Sailing Academy on Portland and Newtons Cove in Weymouth.
A coastguard helicopter was on its way to help with the search when the boy was found safe and well in the Weymouth area sometime after 2am.
