A LOCAL arts and crafts gallery relaunched in an official opening ceremony.
Mustard Seeds Arts and Crafts, held at St Mary's Church in Weymouth, was opened by Mayor of Weymouth and Portland Cllr Gill Taylor on Saturday (2).
Rita Ashman, of Mustard Seeds, said Cllr Taylor was "impressed by the smart new appearance of the gallery."
She added: "The Mayor felt it enhanced the overall beauty of the church.
"Hundreds came through the door to enjoy free refreshments, craft demonstrations and live music by Anthony Cooper on piano and 'The Friday Four' Jazz band."
The gallery, which is run by local volunteers, is open Monday to Thursday from 10.30am to 3.30pm, and Friday and Saturday from 10.30am until 4pm.
