A man has been arrested and charged in connection with the alleged theft of items from a store in Weymouth.
At around 11.45am on Saturday, January 19 a man reportedly entered the shop at the BP petrol station on Dorchester Road and picked up a number of items including meat, alcohol and mobile phone accessories before making off without paying.
Following enquiries and a CCTV appeal issued by police, a 45-year-old man from Weymouth was arrested and charged with theft. He is due to appear at Weymouth Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, February 27.
