A man is expected to make a full recovery after leaving hospital almost four weeks after being found unconscious and with head injuries on a housing estate in Weymouth.
The man, in his 20s, was found in Beverley Road at Littlemoor just before 10pm on Saturday, January 19.
He was taken to Southampton General Hospital for urgent treatment, where he spent almost four weeks recovering.
Detective Sergeant Tom Hall, of Weymouth CID, said: “I am pleased to report that the injured man has now left hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.
“We have conducted a full investigation into this incident and have now spoken with the man involved. From these enquiries we do not believe there was any third party involvement and we are no longer treating the incident as suspicious.”
