Weymouth Rotary Club presented a cheque for five hundred pounds to STEPS youth club to help them continue their good work.
Rotary Club President Roger Fry said: “Weymouth Rotary Club are proud to support STEPS which does magnificent work for Weymouth youth and is part of our on-going support of the local community and good causes.”
Principal Youth Worker at STEPS Tom Lane said: "We have an excellent, long-standing relationship with Weymouth Rotary Club who have generously supported our work and opportunities for local young people.
"STEPS is now entirely run by our Charity and it is a constant challenge for us to raise sufficient funds to keep the Club going. This donation will help us enormously in providing a range of developmental opportunities and support for our young people."
The money had been raised over the Christmas period collections and the Rotary Club are very grateful to the public for their generosity.
