A ROLLING programme of road improvements has been updated after some projects were delayed due to the snow.
Dorset County Council’s highways team is currently carrying out the works across the county.
The works have been paid for by extra government funding and the council says that, due to the large equipment being used, the area of the road being worked on will be closed. Daytime road closures are from 9am to 4pm and night-time closures run from 7pm to 6am.
Upcoming works include:
- River Crescent and Mill Street, Dorchester – daytime closure, Thursday, February 14
- Bell Street, Shaftesbury – daytime closure, Thursday, February 14 and Friday 15
- Icen Way, Dorchester – daytime closure Friday, February 15 and Monday, 18
- C6 Gallows Hill, Bere Regis – daytime closure Friday, February 15 and Monday, 18
- Lanehouse Rocks Road (from Nutgrove Avenue to Portland Road junction) – night-time closure from Monday, February 18 to Thursday, February 21
- From Terrace, Dorchester - daytime closure, Tuesday, February 19
- Coburg Road, Dorchester – daytime closure Thursday, February 21 and Friday, February 22
