SIR OLIVER Letwin, in his column (26/1), set out his treatise about listening to others just before facing a meeting of angry constituents about ignoring their views.

This is the action of a sneaky boy who knows that he deserves his shins to get a good kicking, actually or metaphorically.

Oliver was the Conservative Policy Chief at the time of the referendum which gave the decision on Brexit to the electorate rather than to MPs.

To form a grubby cabal with Dominic Grieve to try to prevent Brexit is not what I, and many others, expect from a man of honour.
