A road in Purbeck is closed due to a burst water main.
The B3351 is shut both ways between Thrashers Lane and the A351 at Corfe Castle.
Emergency repairs are due to take place this afternoon.
A spokesperson for Wessex Water said: "We are currently repairing a burst main near the railway bridge on the B3351 at Corfe Castle.
"The road was closed at around 2.45pm this afternoon and is not expected to re-open until late this evening. Customers’ water supplies are not believed to have been affected by the burst.
"We’re sorry for any inconvenience to residents and road users."
