WHEN you want to buy a house, you make an offer on a property you think is attractive.

Then there are searches, surveys and inspections which give you further information about the house.

If these turn out worse than expected, you can decide not to proceed with the purchase.

There are, of course, those who will want to proceed at all costs, as it is their dream location; – fair enough – that’s their dream and their choice.

In any case – the point is choice; your solicitor will strongly advise you not to commit yourself until you know all the facts – then you make your decision.

We now have the facts and the hard choices are clear – we must be given the opportunity to make an informed decision.
