A man has been taken to hospital following a crash on the A35 this morning.
The incident happened near Bere Regis just before 6.30am.
Police were notified by the ambulance service of a crash at the junction with Bloxworth near Wareham.
One car, a red Peugeot 107, was involved and the driver was trapped in the vehicle which was on its side.
South Western Ambulance Service attended the scene with an ambulance and two operations officers.
An ambulance spokesman said: “One male patient was taken to hospital for further treatment.”
The road was blocked, and closures were put in place at Morden Park Corner and Woodbury Cross.
The road has since been cleared and has reopened.
